The second week of my study abroad program, allowed me to explore more of the south of France. After Montpellier, on Friday the 11th of July I went to Aigues-Mortes with Jean Paul. Jean Paul is a tour-guide who organizes excursions for the students in study abroad programs in Montpellier. When I was told that I had the opportunity to participate, I took advantage of the opportunity to discover other places. Always accompanied by Jean Paul, we toured Aigues-Mortes and then we went to the beach of Espiguette, a wild coast with huge sand dunes. The next day, a friend from the IEFE proposed that we go to Nice and Monaco in view of the weekend and the national holiday of the 14th of July. Altough it was a last-minute decision, I didn't regret it. On Sunday we walked around Vieux-Nice and we saw the Castle. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to visit the Matisse Museum because it was closed. Our stay to Monaco was great! After the visit of the Palace and the Oceanographic Museum, that we couldn't miss, we promenaded in the little streets. We were really lucky to be in Monaco for the national holiday of the 14th of July because we saw the spectacle of fireworks. It was owesome...
